Launching Pad -- Classroom Work Links

Below are posts that contain links to a variety of sites, pages, documents, etc. that we will use with various classroom lessons.  These links are placed here so students can be easily directed to them.  It works as a great jump-off point for us.  Students only have to navigate the the class webpage (which they are experts at) and then go to the appropriate post...and voila...they are off and running with the activity planned for that lesson.

Comic Strip Creation

posted Feb 24, 2009, 6:18 AM by Rob Reynolds

Today you are going to become a comic strip creator.  Think of one of your favorite manners of the week, and create a comic strip showing it in action.  When you have created your comic, you can email it to yourself at your.epals.com address.  Check with me about printing a copy of it as well.  Have fun today, and be creative.  Perhaps we (you) can come up with some good examples for display with our WOW (Watch Out World) Assembly this week.
