Biography Book Project
Students will working on a multi-faceted biography research project for their book project this month. In fact, this is such a major work that we are allocating two months for its completion. It won't be due until that last week of April. Student research will include reading a biography, along with researching and reading information from encyclopedias and the internet. The final work will include drawing, poetry, time-lines, a written report, and an oral presentation. All three third grade classes will be working together on this project. Classes will rotate to each teacher to work on a different aspect of the project. The final completed project, however, remains the student's responsibility to complete. A packet detailing the project will be coming home this week, and students should start to think of an individual they are interested in learning more about. We are looking forword to this exciting project and to seeing the outstanding work we know each student will put into their project. |
