Basket for Montoya Benefit-Baking Theme

As many of you may know Maddie Montoya, a junior in the high school, has been battling thyroid cancer. The Montoya family is obviously going through a very difficult time; so the entire school system along with the community is rallying behind Maddie and her family by conducting a benefit auction on October 11th.    The volunteers of the auction committee decided that a unique way for the school children and families to get involved would be for each grade level to donate items based on a theme to be auctioned in a basket. Baskets will be gathered from each grade on October 3rd.  This event will show great community, as well as school support and spirit. The third grade has chosen a baking theme. Have fun with what you donate but anything that is used for baking would be great. Cookbooks, measuring items, large spoons for stirring, ingredients, etc… would all be appropriate. Be creative and have fun. Items can be brought in at any time.
